Do you do E-Safety Checks? - Pink Slips, Blue Slips, and Green Slips

Yes. We do both Pink Slips and Blue Slips for light vehicles. As for Green Slips, this is to be done via your insurance provider, but we do assist in obtaining the Pink Slip required for your Green Slip.

How much does it cost to service my vehicle?

Request a quote. This will depend on the type of vehicle you have, the mileage it has accrued and the appropriate service. For an accurate quote, you can send us a message with your Registration Number (Plate number) and the total amount of mileage you car has consumed.

What qualifications/licenses do you hold?

Merken has earned several accreditations, including:
- Motor Vehicle Repairer's License
- Authorised Inspection Station (Pink Slip)
- Authorised Unregistered Inspection Scheme (Blue Slip)
- Mobile Safety Check Provider (Mobile Pink Slip)
- Refrigerant Handling License (Automotive Refrigeration)
- Authorised Child Restraint Fitting Station (Inspect, fit, and adjust child car seat)

Do you diagnose or repair?

We do both! Our technician diagnoses the vehicle and provides a quote before any repairs are made to your car. The quote will be presented with a clear explanation by our technician of which services/repairs are needed. We wait for your go signal to do our thing or if you'd like to reschedule we'd be happy to set another day for you.

Can I buy my own parts and have you install them?

Yes, you may. However, we are not liable for how the parts perform, especially for after-market parts.
